Mahindra and Mahindra has come up with a new stylish version of its Scorpio. Launching the vehicle at a starting price of INR 9.97 Lakh, Mahindra has unleashed 6 variants of the new Scorpio – S3, S5, S7 and S11. While S3 and S11 are respectively available in 120bh and 140bhp respectively, the other three are available in both the version. Besides 140bhp, S11 has also got yet another version, wherein the model is clubbed with 4WD. As far as the colour variants are concerned, you would see the new Scorpio in 5 different colour tones.
The New Mahindra Scorpio Facelift has some exciting features on the exterior front. Besides the new front grille design with chrome inserts, the model features muscular alloy wheels, new ORVMs with integrated side turn indicators; special mention to the fog lamps, and LED tail lamps. Once into the interior, you would spot new plush faux leather seats, steering wheel and gear lever – both wrapped in leather; mobile holder slot, bigger cubbyholes and to name a few. The 6 inch touch screen infotainment system comes with Bluetooth/CD/DVD/USB/Aux, GPS navigation – which is available in 10 different languages.
The 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine would deliver two states of tune – one which develops a maximum power of 120bhip and a 280Nmn of peak torque, another with a maximum of 138bhp and 320Nm torque. Except the S3 variant, all the other models have 5 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter. As far as S3 is concerned, it has a 5 speed manual gearbox, and develops a power of 75bhp/200Nm torque.
