When it comes to films set against army backdrop, Major Ravi is a force to reckon in Malayalam film industry. The Jawan turned film director Major Ravi has announced his next project, titled ‘Bridge on Galwan’. The project, which as the name suggests, is about the India – China conflict that is taking place at the border. When given interview to a national daily, Major maintained that the film would capture the tensions that happened between India and China in the past.
The project, according to the reports, will star Mohanlal. However, Major added that the film would have stars from various film industries. A Pan Indian movie, ‘Bridge on Galwan’ is planning to start shooting from January 2021. However, a clear picture of the project will be available, only when the threat from covid comes under control. Along with that, the film will also depend on the ongoing India – China border issue, which has escalated to new heights.
Major Ravi and Mohanlal have teamed up five times in the past, and every time, the films produced some high octane moments at the border. The latest project from the duo is expected to be primarily be shot in the actual location, though we are yet to get a clear picture about it.
