Malavika Mohanan is one of the most beloved heroines of Malayalees. Malavika is also the daughter of Mohanan who has worked as a photographer in many Malayalam movies. Malavika will make her Malayalam film debut with Dulquer Salman starrer Pattompole. Although she later starred in Asif Ali starrer Nirnayakam, Malavika did not shine much in Malayalam.
Malavika will make her Tamil debut with Rajinikanth starrer Petta. Malavika debuted in Tamil as the heroine of the character played by Sasikumar. Malavika got a very well-received character in this film. Following this, Vijay got the opportunity to act as the heroine in the movie Master.
Master is directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a villain. Lokesh Kanakaraj is a popular director with his films Kaithi and Managaram. The film was scheduled to release on April 9. But later the release was postponed due to coronavirus situation.
Now Malavika is all set to make her Hindi debut. But not in the movie, just in the web series. The Family Man was a critically acclaimed web series. It was directed by Raj & DK. And was prepared by Familyman. Malavika is coming up with a new serial which is being prepared by them. Shahid Kapoor plays the central character in the series. There are reports that Malavika is getting an action role.
