A Malayali is among the soldiers who died in an army vehicle accident in Sikkim. Vaishakh, a native of Chenganiyoorkav, Palakkad, died. 16 people, including three officers, died when the military vehicle overturned into trench.
Vaishakh has been serving in the army for eight years. It is reported that the military sources have officially informed the family about the death.
The accident was one of the three army vehicles that went from Chatan region to Tangu on Friday morning. According to military sources, the vehicle carrying the soldiers fell from the slope of the gorge towards trench.
