After Aaraattu, filmmaker B Unnikrishnan and scriptwriter Udayakrishnan will team up again, however, this time they have Megastar Mammootty on board. The shooting of the film will start on June 15 in Ernakulam. The actor and the director are uniting after 12 years.
In Pramani, Mammootty essayed the role of Viswanatha Panicker, a corrupted Panchayat president of Thazhe Keezhppadam grama panchayath in Kuttanad for 25 years. He earns a lot of wealth through his corruption and by cornering his village people to hand over their lands to him. But he never acquires in his name, instead he gives them to his relatives.
Unnikrishnan’s style was usually to write and direct the script on his own. That changed with the film ‘I Love Me’. Sethu was the screenwriter of this film. After that, Aarattu was directed by Unnikrishnan with Udayakrishnan’s script. Continuing their combination, they have brought Mammootty for their next flick.

According to sources, the script has been completed and the title will be announced soon. Further developments are expected post their meeting in Ernakulam tomorrow.
