Actor Mammootty has released the promo video of PWD for U (PWD 4U), a mobile app for the public to lodge complaints with the Public Works Department about roads. The release was in the presence of Minister PA Mohammad Riyaz. The mobile app will be officially launched on the 7th.
The app is designed to take photos of road problems and complaints and upload and record information. Apple has included information on 4000 km of roads that have been digitized. Details of the completed roads will be sent to the concerned officials as soon as they reach the mobile app. Digitization of the remaining roads is in progress. This will be completed within six months.
Complaints regarding these roads will be forwarded to the concerned officers through the Grievance Redressal Cell. Steps will be taken to resolve complaints in a timely manner. The promo video was produced by BMG Animations.
