The much awaited CBI team is back with a grand poster of their upcoming film ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ via the official Facebook handle of Jagathy Sreekumar. A note along with the poster read, “CBI 5. Coming soon”.
The poster features us the CBI characters, Sethurama Iyer, Chacko, and Vikram played by the actors Mammootty, Mukesh and Jagathy Sreekumar respectively.

Jagathy Sreekumar joined the shoot of the film last February 27 and will be reprising the CBI officer character Vikram in the film.
‘CBI 5: The Brain’ will feature the same cast from the previous installments along with some new introductions. The cast of the film includes Dileesh Pothan, Soubin Shahir, Ramesh Pisharody, Asha Sarath, and Kaniha.
The CBI series has been a major hit in the Malayalam film and for a span of three decades, it has won the hearts of every Malayali audience. The credit goes to Director K Madhu for executing such storylines.
