Megastar Mammootty is preparing to register yet another mass entertainer, with ‘Unda’. The second directorial venture of Khalid Rahman of ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’ fame, this Mammootty project will see yet another cop avatar of Megastar. Though not much is known about the project, it is known that the movie would be a multi star entertainer, and will have a young superstar sharing screen space with Mammootty. Having said that, makers are yet to unveil the name of the young star roped in by the makers. However, unconfirmed reports suggest that it would be Asif Ali, who has signed in the dotted lines with ‘Unda’. Asif Ali and Khalid Rahman combo has had a great outing at Kerala box office with ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’.
Reports suggest that Mammootty will be essaying the role of Sub Inspector Mani. Already started shooting in Kannur, ‘Unda’ will also be shot across Kasargode, Chhattisgarh and Mangalore. All set to hit big screens by 2019 January, ‘Unda’ is being jointly produced by Gemini Studios and Krishan Sethukumar under the banner of ‘Movie Milli Banner’.
