After the release of Mammootty-starrer Kathal in OTT, the movie is getting a lot of praise.

Now Congress leader K. has praised actor Mammootty. S. Sabrinathan.
Sabarinathan said that the most beautiful scene in Kathal is the Kudumbakodathi scene. His response was through a note shared on Facebook.
Sabrinathan notes that this core of Geo Baby, without exaggeration, is tender.

What I found to be the most beautiful scene in Jio Baby’s Kathal is a scene in the family court. Mathew (Mammootty) and his wife Omana (Jyotika) are standing side by side when the divorce case is going on. They hand over the handbag to Mathew when Omana is called to investigate. Mathew hands over the bag to Omana after the interrogation.
The respect and care they have for each other in their cold marriage can’t be portrayed better than this. The foundation of the film is this mutual respect and dignity in marriage, family and society. Mathew, Omana, Chachan, Thangan, Mae and Vak are all expressing it to each other. No exaggeration, this core of tender Geo Baby is axed.
And Mammooka – Mammootty characters who lack confidence have always been a marvel to me – Taniyavartan, Bhatakanadi Unda and now Kathalum. The other actresses and technicians are all beautiful.
