Mohanlal starrer ‘Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham’ graced theatres with the distinction of presenting Malayalam cinema in the grandest scale. A number of celebrities have taken social media spaces to praise the visual extravaganza that director Priyadarshan has managed to present. However, off late a number of reports have started hitting social media platforms suggesting that the movie failed in big time. One of the producers of the movie, Santhosh T Kuruvila has taken social media platforms to express his angry over the propaganda against the movie.
Santhosh T Kuruvila has shared a video of a group of people celebrating the failure of ‘Marakkar’. The group of unidentified people were seen serving payasam and making whoopee for the failure of ‘Marakkar’. Santhosh T Kuruvila said that this was a highly condemnable act by a group of people, with some definite agenda.
Stating that he is proud over producing the movie, which had won multiple National Awards, Santhosh T Kuruvila’s facebook post termed the act of the group, as an attempt to tarnish the image of Malayalam film industry. A number of people have come forward in support of the producer’s post.
