Mathrubhumi director Usha Veerendra Kumar passed away on Friday in Kozhikode. She was 82.
Usha is known to be the wife of renowned write, former minister and managing director of Mathrubhumi, late MP Veerendra Kumar. She married Veerendra Kumar at the age of 18 and was a constant companion of the latter.
The mortal remains will be kept for public homage at the Chalappuram residence on Friday. Cremation on Saturday at 3 pm at the ancestral place in Puliyarmala, Wayanad.
