Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan made serious allegations against tv channel Media One and said that it is a Jamaat-e-Islami channel which is making baseless allegations against him without any reason. The Governor made his remarks in a special interview given to Janam TV.
The Governor said that Jamaat-e-Islaam is turning against him in connection with the Shah Bano case. Even today they are angry with him. They have attempted five times to kill him and the last one was the most dangerous attempt, he said.
The governor alleged that they hit him on the head with an iron rod during the clash at Jamia Millia. If he had been delayed by ten minutes to the hospital, his life would have been in danger. All those who attacked him were leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami’s youth wing at that time.
