MediaTek has announced the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The Helio P60 happens to be the first SoC platform featuring a multi core AI processing unit. The Arm Cortex A73 and A53 processors deliver a total of 70 percent CPU performance boost, in comparison with Helio P23 and Helio P30. The two processors clock 2GHz processing speed each, while the chipset is tipped to be the most efficient Helio P series SoC till date.
Company officials further maintained that MediaTek Helio P60 comes with NeuroPilot AI technology. The NeuroPilot SDK, reportedly is compatible with Google Android Neural Networks API.
