Skype will now have the ‘Private Conversation’ feature in it – thanks to the collaboration between Microsoft and Signal. Signal has integrated the open source for their text messaging platform in an attempt to improve the Private communication platforms. Skype is the latest one from the list of private platforms, aided by the Signal.
Earlier, it was WhatsApp, which had launched the end to end encrypted messaging service back in April 2017. The end to end encryption feature in Skype would be called ‘Private Encryption’. Right now, the feature is available for preview in Skype Insider.
