As per the recommendation by expert panel appointed by Milma, an additional charge of Rs 6 to every categories of Milma milk will come into effect from tomorrow.
The price of toned milk (in blue colour sachet), which is high in demand, will touch Rs 52 per litre in MIlma outlets. The earlier price was Rs 46.
From a litre, the dairy farmers are expected to receive nearly Rs 5.03 extra amount compared to their current revenue. The farmer will obtain Rs 38.40 to Rs 43.50 from a litre according to the quality of the milk.
