It’s a time for the lovely couple of M-Town, superstar Mohanlal and wife Suchitra, as they are celebrating their love story of 34 years today. They epitomizes an adorable love story which the new generation would like to make an inspiration.
The duo got married in the year 1988, and have been leading a happily married life since then. Before getting married, as usual, even they had to overcome a few hurdles on their path. Initially Suchitra hated Mohanlal for his villain roles in the film. She used to get angry whenever Mohanlal was seen on the screen. Later, she realized that Mohanlal is actually living the character and that the actor has paid full justice to his character.
Previously in an interview with an online media, Suchitra revealed that she disliked Mohanlal’s antagonist character in his film ‘Manjil Virinja Pookkal’ and that was her first impression of Mohanlal. Later that dislike turned to love when she saw the drama film ‘Ente Mamattukkuttiyammakku’. She also revealed in the interview that she fell in love with Mohanlal after watching the film and also he became her favorite actor.
Gradually, Suchitra started sending greetings to the actor and met him for the first time as an ardent fan of the actor. Like all love stories, they also got in touch frequently, and their friendship blossomed into love and they decided to get married.
But it was not that easy. Their horoscopes did not match well and hence both families did not agree to this alliance. Often it is said that some marriages are made in heaven and, yes, the same thing happens here as well. The families of the duo later realised that this happened due to the mistake of a person who wrote their horoscopes. Mohanlal and Suchitra tied the knot on April 28 in the year 1988, after both families gave a green signal to their marriage.
The couple have a son named Pranav Mohanlal and a daughter named Vismaya.
