The Malayalam film audiences always wanted to see the crackling combo of Mohanlal-Sreenivasan in the big screen. Whenever the two united, many block busters were produced. In between, the two drifted apart. There were speculations that some of Sreenivasan films made a mockery of Mohanlal. Ace director Priyadarshan had agreed the differences of opinion between the two.
Anyway there is good news from the film industry regarding the two. Mohanlal via Facebook announced the film directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan with his son Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role. In the video, Mohanlal said the film is being directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, son of my friend and colleague Sreenivasan.
Many comments were seen under the post and the fans wished saying ‘let Pranav-Vineeth combo turn a hit like the films of Lalettan and Sreeniyettan. Vineeth also shared the post and mentioned that his long-cherished dream has come true. The film has been titled ‘Hridyam’. Vineeth shared the name of the film written by him with the audience. He is also the script writer of the film. The film produced by Visakh Subramanyam under the banner of Merryland Cinemas is co-produced by Nobel Babu Thomas.
