Mohanlal is all set to create new history in Malayalam film industry as he has got a mega release on the anvil – Odiyan. The mega project will reportedly release in over 4000 screens worldwide, which will make it the biggest project in the history of Malayalam film industry till date. It is been reported by leading industry players that ‘Odiyan’ will be released in almost ninety percent of theatres across the state. All set to hit big screens on December 14th, the movie is in the final legs of post production works.
Directed by VA Shrikumar Menon, ‘Odiyan’ will also have simultaneous release in Telugu as well. The teasers and trailer of the movie, which was released earlier on, have gone onto create ripples amongst the film buffs in the state. Touted to be a fantasy thriller, the script of ‘Odiyan’ is been penned by Harikrishnan. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of ‘Aashirvad Cinemas’, ‘Odiyan’ boasts an ensemble cast, including Manju Warrier, Prakash Raj, Siddique and to name the rest.
