Belagavi: The family members of the girl stripped the mother naked and tied her to a pole and brutally beat her because her son ran away. The shocking incident took place in Belagavi, Karnataka.
The son of the victimized woman was in a relationship with a girl for some time. The young man ran away with his girlfriend last day.
The girl’s family came to the young man’s house last Sunday. The boy’s mother was then dragged out of the house. After that, he was stripped naked, tied to a pole and beaten.
Police have already arrested seven relatives of the girl in the incident. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that strong action will be taken against the culprits in the incident.
A woman was stripped naked, tied to a pole and assaulted in Belgaum is extremely inhumane. This has made the whole society dizzy. Our government will not tolerate such heinous acts under any circumstances.
Many people have already been arrested in connection with the case. The culprits should be severely punished.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara explained that those arrested will be brought to court soon. The woman who was injured in the attack is currently undergoing treatment.
