Activist Rehana Fathima has again come to the limelight after her mother filed a complaint against her on Wednesday. Her mother Pyari, lodged a complaint with Alappuzha North police accusing her of mental and physical harassment.
In her complaint, Pyari alleged that her daughter Rehana and son-in-law (Rehana’s ex-partner Manoj K Sreedhar) tortured her while residing at their flat in Ernakulam. Following this, she was forced to move to a relative’s house in Alappuzha.
Pyari, who said she was no longer interested in living with her daughter, demanded to warn Rehana from disturbing her relatives.
On receiving the complaint, Alappuzha North police summoned Rehana Fathima and warned her not to disturb her mother in any manner.
