Featuring Intel Kaby Lake – U processors for the first time in its portfolio, MSI has expanded its mini PC segment, by launching two models –Cubi 3 Silent and Cubi 3 Silent S Mini. Besides the all new processor, the models also sport fan-less design, and boast less chance for malfunction.
The models have SO –DIMM slots, which would support memory modules up to 32GB DDR4 -2133MHz. It should be mentioned here that, the slots does include 1 M.2 slot – SATA/PCIe SSDs – and another SATA port for a 2.5’’ HDD or SSD. In terms of the front I/O interface, there are – 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type – A, and another one with a 1x microphone in/audio jack. Both the models sports Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3168, while they support Wi – Fi 802.11ac, as well as Bluetooth 4.2. While the models are going to be shipped with Windows 10 Home OS pre installed, the company is yet to divulge the price tag of both the models.
