A young girl from Kozhikode has committed suicide, on the wake of announcement of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), last day. The bereaved young girl has been identified as Vandana (17) fom Puthiyangadi. It was believed that a below par performance in the NEET was the reason that led the youngster to jump in front of train and end the life.
The sad incident took place at 10:55, when Ernakulam – Kannur Intercity Express was passing West Hill railway station. Last day when the results were out, it was reported that the girl complained of the low rank, secured by her. Vandana’s father, Sherleedharan is a fisherman.
