NEET (National Eligibility come Entrance Examination Test) might soon turn Malayalam friendly. Eyeing the imminent possibility of attempting NEET in Malayalam, Kerala govt. is looking forward to bring Higher Secondary Books in Malayalam language. It is also been reported that in the initial phase, science text books would be the ones, which will be made available in Malayalam. Cautious of the hurdles before, SCERT is currently working on a Malayalam dictionary of the technical terms.
Right now, Higher Secondary schools in Kerala are following the text books prepared by NCERT. While informing about the Malayalam text books, the officials however maintained that Malayalam books would remain an optional one for students to choose.
