The National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) 2018 has cleared one confusion, related to updating Aadhaar cards. With Aadhaar linking becoming mandatory for all NEET applicants, Akshaya Centers in the state have started receiving heavy rush. Well, soon when reports came about misusing thumb impression in North India, UIDAI had demanded going for an iris scan of candidates. That landed most of the centers in Kerala in an uncertain situation. With less than 5 percentage of Akshaya Centers possessing the Iris Scanners, the Aadhaar linking procedures over NEET, has come to a standstill in the State.
Well, UIDAI has made it clear that Iris scanning wasn’t necessary in Kerala until March 5th.
