Nokia 8 has started receiving Android 8.1 Oreo update. The update brings a number of features to the smartphone, such as an improvement to WiFi speeds and battery indicator for Bluetooth devices. The presence of Android Oreo 8.1 has thus made Nokia 8 as the only device along with Google Pixel 2, to have the latest version from Oreo. The update has reportedly resolved the bug issues found in Android 8.0.
Along with Nokia 8, another smartphone from the company too has started receiving latest security patch – Nokia 2. Earlier HMD Global had announced that Nokia devices would receive Android updates for a period of 2 years.
