India Meteorological Department predicted that the Northeast monsoon may hit Kerala on Saturday. Torrential rainfall in the state till October 31. The IMD also predicts heavy isolated rainfall in several districts on Sunday and Monday.
Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been sounded in Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki and Palakkad districts on Sunday.
A yellow alert has also been issued to Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam for Monday.
