In unveiling their latest service, Amazon announced that it would start delivering the packages to parked cars. Commenting on the latest service, Amazon company officials said that the new programme, Amazon Key In – Car, would be open to Prime members. According to the company’s statement, if one was unavailable for receiving the package, he/she could opt for stowing the package inside the car and then re – locking it. Once the process is complete, Amazon would be sending notification to the customer.
Amazon Key was launched last November, and it was being tested in selected markets. According to the officials, the in – car delivery would ensure a peaceful state of mind of customers.
