Omar Lulu has taken social media spaces to inform that he would only be starting the shoot of his next film, Powerstar by this year end. The movie, which stars Babu Antony in the lead role, was announced quite some time ago. The advent of Covid had thwarted the plans of every film-maker and Omar Lulu is no exception. The director, while commenting on the film, also maintained that, after his debut Happy Weddings, he hadn’t waited this much for any other film.

Meanwhile, the director has shot couple of albums and his debut Hindi album, ‘Yu Hi Hai Meri Zindagi’ turned out to be a great outing as well. He is constantly updating his ongoing works through social media platforms and is one of the most active Malayalam directors in social media spaces.
