Today, being celebrated as Fathers’ Day, saw Jayasurya releasing the first look poster of his upcoming movie ‘Vellam’. The movie, which is directed by Prajesh Sen, will see Jayasurya portraying the role of a normal person from Kannur. While speaking about the project earlier, Prajesh Sen had maintained that the movie was all about capturing the struggles of common people that often gets unnoticed.

‘Vellam’ also marks the second collaboration between Jayasurya and Prajesh after the duo’s ‘Captain’ that dealt with the life of former Indian Football team captain VP Sathyan. The story of ‘Vellam’ is been penned by the director himself. Movie is a joint production venture of Josekutty Madathil, Yadu Krishna and Ranjith Manambarakkat under the banner of ‘Friendly Productions LLP’.
