Every season of Bigg Boss Malayalam comes up with new special features. This season too, many such features are being presented in the show. This time the new category is the open jail.
Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 has declared the first set of ‘prisoners’ of the season and they are contestants Aswin Vijay and Blesslee. They were selected for the jail punishment by the inmates for their below-average performance in the weekly task.
The housemates were asked to select the worst performers for the weekly task and most of them voted against Aswin and Blesslee.
Akhil said that Aswin missed the task twice to win the soft toy and he was ‘foolish’ to trust
Dr. Robin for the second time. According to Akhil, even Blesslee did not safeguard his soft toy. Captain Aswin then handed over his position to Naveen Arakkal.
Bigg Boss explained the specialties and rules of this season’s prison. It is an open jail and there is no washroom facility inside. Hence, the prisoners have to use a ‘jail free’ card every time they want to step outside. Each prisoner gets 5 free passes, but the duration for getting outside the jail is restricted as per a sand clock.
There are also yellow and green cards. If inmates spend more time outside than the allotted time, the siren will sound and the lights inside the house will light up.
