The free mobile VPN app of Opera got discontinued by the company. Both the Android and iOS versions of the app were discontinued by Opera. The turnaround came on the wake of the developer of the app, SurEasy got parted ways with Opera. While the mobile versions were discontinued, it is not known about Opera’s plans with the desktop version of VPN.
That said, there are some interesting options for a continued service of the app. Opera Gold uses will have an option of availing a free one year subscription to the service of Ultra VPN by SurfEasy. The rest can use the Opera VPN app by subscribing to SurfEasy by paying 99 cents per month.
