Famous folk singer, composer, and lyricist Jitesh Kakkidipuram (53) has passed away today. He was found dead at home in Malappuram district, this morning. He was undergoing treatment for liver disease. The body kept at the private hospital in Changaramkulam will be handed over to the relatives after completing the COVID tests.
He was famous for his versatile style of creating folk songs which include songs like Palom Palom Nalla Nadappalam’ and ‘Kaithola Paya Virichu’. His sudden death shocked his fans and music lovers, some wrote in social media ‘Farewell to this .. humble artist .. you will always be in our minds ..’ & ‘The artist has no death’.
