Reports are coming out that PC George, who joined the BJP after dissolving his own party before the Lok Sabha elections, will be included in the National Council. The BJP state leadership meeting will be held in Kochi on 29th. After this meeting, where election related and organizational matters will be discussed, the work will be done. There are indications that the four district presidents of Kerala will be changed. PC George joined the BJP just before the Lok Sabha elections. There was a rumor that he would be the BJP candidate in the Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha constituency, but the party fielded Anil K Antony. PC George was very angry about this. PC George responded that if there was any other candidate, he would have won.

BJP is planning to give posts to PC George at the organizational level. National status is likely to be given. There is also talk that not giving special privileges to PC George will lead to a backlash. The information is that Shaun George will be included in the state committee. As George Kurien is the Union Minister, the post of State General Secretary will vacate. A new person will also come to this post.
State Secretary S Suresh, who spearheaded BJP’s progress in Attingal constituency, District President Anish Kumar, who worked hard for Suresh Gopi’s victory in Thrissur, and Shobha Surendran, who made good progress in Alappuzha, are tipped to become the state general secretary.
