Pathanamthitta: Motor Vehicle Department has taken strict action against Robin Bus. The Department of Motor Vehicles impounded the Robin bus for allegedly running the service in violation of the permit.
When he returned to Pathanamthitta from Coimbatore at 1 am on Friday morning, the motor vehicle department followed him with a heavy police force. The bus was shifted to Pathanamthitta police camp.
The motor vehicle department registered a case against the bus for violating the permit. The bus was impounded on the grounds that it was continuously violating the permit in violation of the High Court order.
Apart from this, the Motor Vehicle Department has also taken steps to cancel the license of the drivers. A bus was fined Rs 7,500 near Erumeli on Friday morning.
At the same time, the motor vehicle department officials explain that the owner’s argument that the Supreme Court judgment is favorable is wrong. Apart from this, action has also been taken against the vloggers who called for violation of the law.
But the bus operators responded that the action of the officials who violated the court order was unfair. The Robin bus operators also argued that the officials had violated the court order.
