Philips is all set to launch 43 inch Momentum (436M6). It is the first monitor to get HDR1000 approval. The monitor, which has got 1,000 cd/m2 brightness, comes with deep blacks, 10 bit colour depth and HDR compliant colour gamut. Further then, the monitor uses Quantum Dot tech and features Ambiglow technology. According to the company, the device comes in three standards, Display HDR 400, 600 and 1000. The contrast ratio of the device is 955:1.
Philips has incorporated a number of features with the device. One such is ‘MultiView’, which allows the user to connect the device simultaneously with a PC as well as a set top box. Priced at $1,000, Philips will launch Momentum 436M36 in this Summer.
