'Politics favoring Sangh Parivar forces is not his style'; K Sudhakaran was the first to 'change'

Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC President K Sudhakaran has reversed his position that he is not opposed to the inclusion of Sangh Parivar supporters in the Senate and Syndicate appointments.

Sudhakaran is now saying that he will strongly criticize if unqualified people are nominated to the Senate.

K Sudhakaran said that on the day he was suspended from Parliament for raising his voice against the injustice of the BJP’s fascist regime, he rejected with complete disdain the Sangh Parivar’s attempt to castigate me.

Politics favoring Sangh Parivar forces is not his style. The note says that no matter how hard Pinarayi Vijayan and his colleagues, who fetch water for the Sangh Parivar day and night, it is not possible to give even a small scratch to his secular mind and consciousness.

KPCC president K Sudhakaran had initially said that he was not opposed to the inclusion of Sangh Parivar supporters in the Senate and Syndicate appointments. It will not be opposed just because it is a group. Sudhakaran also asked if they are not a democratic party.

Malacca fell from this position. Full version of Facebook post-

The very day I was suspended from Parliament for raising my voice against the injustices of the BJP’s fascist regime, I dismiss with utter contempt the attempt of the Sangh Parivar to impeach me. No matter how hard Pinarayi Vijayan and his cohorts, who are powerless to even move their tongues against Narendra Modi, the enlightened secular democratic people of Kerala will never accept it. It is appropriate that those who work round the clock to provide me with Sangha Parivarpattam should buy that water.

Born in the secular womb of the Congress, I entered the field of public affairs with a firm vow to protect democracy. I am one of the MPs suspended from Parliament for raising slogans against Narendra Modi.

Every drop of blood in my veins is the secular consciousness imparted by the forefathers of the Congress including Mahatma Gandhi and Jaharlal Nehru. To measure its purity, no one would bother to roll out the red carpet for them in Kerala after buying the Sangha Parivar’s pickles.

The attacks against me for the past few days are a part of a deliberate attempt to destroy a secularist who keeps the country’s pluralism and secularism like the apple of his eye as a gang member. You keep it up. I can’t get tired of it. I will continue the relentless fight against fascism.

I made it clear that if unqualified people are nominated to the Senate, it will be strongly criticized. I meant that nominees to the Senate should be appointed on merit. Other than that, politics favoring Sangh Parivar forces is not my style.

No matter how hard Pinarayi Vijayan and his colleagues, who fetch water day and night for the Sangh Parivar, it is not possible to give even a small scratch to my secular mind and consciousness. The Congress has never supported the Governor trying to implement Sangh Parivar ideas in Kerala.

We are the ones who demanded the withdrawal of the governor in the assembly. But Pinarayi Vijayan and his colleagues not only did not support it, but defeated that demand.

The current war between the Chief Minister and the Governor is just a momentary competition in the name of political business. How many times Kerala has seen this collusion of both. The Governor-Chief Minister war is one that erupts only when there are incidents that put the government on the defensive.

Later both will reach a settlement. It is also out of the same understanding that the universities of Kerala have been put in a bad mood. The governor, who is also the chancellor who allowed the appointment of a vice-chancellor in Kannur University against the rules, has shown affection towards the chief minister on many occasions.

The Chief Minister has also taken special care to fulfill the interests and needs of the Governor. The Governor is one of the many bridges between the CPM and the BJP to join hands with each other. They deliberately create such controversies to maintain it and gain public attention.

The new controversy that is bringing me up as a crowbar is a futile attempt to hide the failure of the Kerala New House. I just want to say that it is not worth it.
