The directorate of Technical education has issued a notice, informing about allowing Polytechnic Colleges across the state to function on 7 Saturdays. The working Saturdays, which are meant to compensate the loss of working days due to the delay occurred during the admission process of 1st Semester students for the academic year of 2017 – 18.
The notice comes with the list of working Saturdays for Polytechnic Colleges, and conduct classes for 1st Semester students. Earlier, representatives of technical education conducted a meeting, discussing the issue of compensating loss of working days on 26thJuly 2917, at SITTTR Kalamassery.
