Poornima Indrajith is all set to make her Bollywood debut after her daughter Prathana Indrajith made her Bollywood debut by singing in the movie ‘Thaish’. Actor Indrajith’s wife and actress Poornima will make her Bollywood debut in the Hindi-English film ‘Cobalt Blue’ directed by National Film Award winner Sachin Kundalkar. The film is based on Sachin’s novel ‘Cobalt Blue’. The novel was published in Marathi in 2006. The film stars Pratik Babbar in the lead role.
The film also stars Neelai, Anjali Sivaraman, and Gitanjali Kulkarni. The film is about a young man who falls in love who comes to stay as a paying guest in their house and the subsequent events.
Poornima, who left acting after her marriage and became an entrepreneur in a clothing boutique called Prana, returned to the acting scene years later with the film Virus. Purnima has also acted in the movie Thuramukham starring Nivin Pauly. Meanwhile, the film is being produced by Open Air Films for Netflix. Poornima has also shared pictures of the Diwali celebrations on the set of the film which is being shot in Kochi on social media.
