Porsche is reportedly looking forward discontinuing its diesel powered car, Cayenne. The decision of discontinuing Porsche Cayenne, is reportedly part of the company’s decision of stopping cars, powered by diesel engine. The company has reportedly stopped the production of Porsche Cayenne, in line with the two previous models – Macan S diesel and Panamera 4S diesel.
Concentrating more on petrol hybrid variants, Porsche however commented that diesel cars account for less than 15 percentage of the company’s global sales. Though the company is yet to make any official comment regarding this, it has to be seen how longer does the booking service goes on. Porsche Cayenne would continue making its presence felt in the Indian markets – but only with its petrol variant.
