As part of expanding its beta site, which compares the tariff rates present in the Gujarat and Delhi circles, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has asked the telecom operators to share the details regarding their national plans. With the inclusion of data plans across various circles, TRAI is expecting to make the tariff rates quite transparent. Commenting on the same, TRAI officials maintained that they would update the site within a month.
The existing system does not allow users to cross check the tariff plans existing in different circles, from a single source. In order to compare different tariff rates, customers would have to access different websites.
