Prithviraj Sukumaran has shared a new poster of his upcoming Shaji Kailas directorial ‘Kaduva’. The new poster, which featured him in a fierce look, has been well received by the social media. After getting announced last year, ‘Kaduva’, however got delayed, due to the unexpected entry of Covid pandemic. However, the latest poster from Prithviraj is an indicator that the movie might start shooting soon in the coming days.
Marking the first directorial venture of Shaji Kailas, after a gap of 6 years, ‘Kaduva’ is said to be based on a real life incident. Penned by Jinu Abraham of ‘Adam Joan’ fame, ‘Kaduva’ will also mark the first project of Telugu music composer Thaman in Malayalam film Industry. ‘Kaduva’ is a joint production venture between ‘Prithviraj Productions’ and ‘Magic Frames’.
While the movie created quite a lot of buzz upon announcement last year, it however featured in the headlines recently, due to a case of violation of copyrights. Jinu Abraham approached the court, moving against the much publicized 250th project of Suresh Gopi, accusing that the SG 250 has a similar storyline of ‘Kaduva’. Soon then Ernakulam District Court has issued a ban on the Suresh Gopi project.
