The release date of the suspense crime thriller Cold Case starring Prithviraj as a police officer has been announced. The film is set to release on June 30 on Amazon Prime. The film, which was earlier slated for a theatrical release, was announced as an OT release after cinemas were closed due to the Covid crisis.
Producer Anto Joseph had written to the General Secretary of the Federation of Film Exhibitors a few days ago. Cold Case is Prithviraj’s first film to be released on OTT without going to theaters. Amazon Prime is releasing six movie-series this month, including Cold Case. Amazon has also released a teaser that includes movie and series release dates.
Prithviraj will be seen in the role of ACP Satyajit, a police officer. The heroine is a guest boy in the Cold Case directed by Tanu Balak, a newcomer to the advertising industry. Lakshmipriya, Suchitra Pillai and Athmiya are the other main characters.
Gireesh Gangadharan and Jomon T have penned the script for Srinath. John is also a cinematographer. Art Director Ajayan Chalissery and Production Controller Badusha. Produced by Andro Joseph, Jomon T. John and Shameer Muhammad together. ‘Cold Case’ is the next film to be produced by the trio after Fahad Fazil’s ‘Irul’.
