Puneeth Rajkumar was an embodiment of love and inspiration who was undoubtedly the ‘Yuvarathna’ and an inspiration to both young and old. To celebrate his legacy, the state government has announced to celebrate his birthday, March 17th, as Inspiration Day.
Speaking at an event, chief minister Basavraja Bommai said, “Puneeth was one of my favourite actors and a great human being. He was an inspiration to millions of youths from across the country. So, we have decided to celebrate March 17th as Inspiration Day.”
The Karnataka Government conferred the state’s highest civilian award, Karnataka Ratna, to Puneeth Rajkumar in November 2021, posthumously.
