Kollam: Daughter-in-law cruelly abused an elderly woman in Naduvilakkara, Tevalakkara. Eliamma Varghese (80), a native of Tevalakkara, was brutally beaten by her daughter-in-law Manjumol Thomas.
Manjumol brutally beat Eliamma Varghese due to a family quarrel. The video footage of Eliamma’s brutal beating was released.
Eliamma, who was in front of the TV, was asked to get up and leave and then threw her down. Manjumol was also beaten with an iron rod.
The daughter-in-law’s attack was in front of her children. The footage was shot by Eliamma’s son’s friend. A case has been filed against the trees after the video shot went viral.
Daughter-in-law Manjumol Thomas was taken into police custody. The police said that a case will be filed against Manju including non-bailable sections.
