Malappuram: PV Anwar MLA inaugurated the roads that were scheduled to be inaugurated by Rahul Gandhi MP the day before. PV Anwar MLA inaugurated the construction of PMGSY roads in Nilambur yesterday. PV Anwar MLA inaugurated the roads which Rahul Gandhi MP was supposed to inaugurate today.
VP Anwar responded that the road was obtained with the intervention of the state government. PV Anwar also stated that he was not invited to the MP’s function. Anwar also alleged that it was a move by the Congress to destroy the New Kerala Assembly.
The Congress accused the MLA of violating the instructions of the Union Ministry of Rural Development. There is a circular of the Union Ministry of Rural Development that MPs should inaugurate PMGSY roads. The Congress is of the view that PV Anwar MLA has violated this. Congress also accused PV Anwar’s action of political bankruptcy.
