Rahana Fatima appeared before the High Court seeking bail in the case of spreading the video of nude body painting in social media. While approaching the High Court, she also argued that the POCSO case against her does not exist.
Commenting on the issue, Rahna Fatima said that the case registered against her came from communal forces. She said that painting her body was her choice, so is the involvement of children in the act. She also accused that it was her name that created problem. She recalled the incident, when a similar controversy was created when Jessla Madassery painted her body.
Adding that her body was a tool for expressing her politics, Rahna Fatima asked media to check the video and the comment section. She also opined that If people saw pornography in the video, the problem was in the eyes of the viewer.The first complaint against Rahna Fatima was lodged at the Thiruvalla police station, when a video of her being shot in the naked body by her son.
