Giving relief to the arid climate, summer rain has showered across the state. In line with last night’s raining across southern districts, Wednesday saw the Malabar region of the state too receiving a marked rainfall. However, the lightning, which came with the rain, resulted in two people losing their lives in Kochi. Lissi (49) and her sister’s son Alex (15), from Puthencruz, lost their lives.
The weather forecast predicts that the state would continue to receive summer rain along with thunder storm for the next five days.
