Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the state today.
Orange alert announced in Idukki today. Isolated places in Idukki are predicted to receive heavy rainfall of 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm in 24 hours.
Yellow alert has also been announced in five districts today. Yellow alert has been declared in Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Ernakulam districts today.
The Meteorological Department has informed that there will be heavy rain in the state for the next two days. Yellow alert has been announced in various districts.
