The SFI unit of Government Sanskrit College in Thiruvananthapuram put up a banner at the gate insulting Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. The governor sought an explanation from the college about the incident.
The Governor took a tough stand against the government’s backdoor appointments of VCs. Infuriated by this, the SFI erected a banner which read ‘Raj Bhavan is not paternal property of Governor’. Khan has sought an explanation from the college principal about the incident.
At the same time, several students have staged protest against the SFI. They lashed at SFI terming them ‘uncultured’ for their way of insulting the Governor.
