Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer ‘Animal’ has started its shooting in the snow-capped mountains of Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The film is helmed by ‘Arjun Reddy’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pranav Reddy Vanga, under the banner of T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.
The first schedule of the film went on floors in Manali with a pooja ceremony. Ranbir and Rashmika were welcomed to the sets with Himachali caps. According to reports, Ranbir has undergone a makeover for the project, ‘Animal’. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
Animal is a pan-India project and will primarily be released in Hindi as well as south Indian languages. Earlier, Parineeti Chopra was roped in for the female lead, however, she declined the project as she wanted to work with Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming project. Animal is touted as a crime drama and will release on August 11 next year.
